About The Bahamas

The majestical islands of The Bahamas form part of an ecological oasis spread out over 100,000 square miles of ocean off the coast of Florida.  The Bahamas archipelago is made up of 700 tropical islands and 2000 rock formations and cays that lay scattered across the world’s third largest fringing barrier reef.  Much of The Bahamas’ land mass of coral-fringed islands, are found within the Out Islands – a string a sparsely populated, exotic islands, and protected wildlife sanctuaries, all surrounded by pristine turquoise waters. Theses remote islands are for the true adventurers and navigators seeking to explore the wonders of the Caribbean.

The Out Islands of The Bahamas are blessed with some of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the world and is considered by many as The Maritime Mecca among skippers and avid yachtsmen. The warm waters of The Bahamas are considered the cleanest in the world, offering some of the best scuba diving and snorkeling adventures, as well as shallow water and deep sea fishing. For the experienced skippers, the Out Islands present the perfect place to set cruise for the hundreds of cays that lay hidden along this vast ecological phenomenon.
